Day...everything up until now, and will continue on...
Ok, wow! so, i've not been on here in a while. I will, however, try to keep up again. and thanks john for letting me know i was behind.
So, i've gotten to see that GOD Really Loves us! for real! that's not some cliche or nice saying, or something i hope is real. I know it! and i will prove it with Scripture!
" 1 How beautiful you are, my darling!
Oh, how beautiful!
Your eyes behind your veil are doves.
Your hair is like a flock of goats descending from Mount Gilead.
2 Your teeth are like a flock of sheep just shorn,
coming up from the washing.
Each has its twin;
not one of them is alone.
3 Your lips are like a scarlet ribbon'
your mouth is lovely.
Your temples behind your veil
are like the halves of a pomegranate.
4 Your neck is like the tower of David,
built with elegance;
on it hang a thousand shields,
all of them shields of warriors.
5 Your two breasts are like two fawns,
like twin fawns of a gazelle
that browse among the lilies.
6 Until the day breaks and the shadows flee,
I will go to the mountain of myrrh
and to the hill of incense.
7 All beautiful you are, my darling;
there is no flaw in you.
8 Come with me from Lebanon, my bride,
come with me from Lebanon.
Descend from the crest of Amana,
from the top of Senir, the summit of Hermon,
from the lions' dens
and the mountain haunts of the leopards.
9 You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride;
you have stolen my heart with one glance of your eyes,
with one jewel of your necklace.
10 How delightful is your love, my sister, my bride!
How much more pleasing is your love than wine,
and the fragrance of your perfume than any spice!
11 Your lips drop sweetness as the honeycomb, my bride;
milk and honey are under your tongue.
The fragrance of your garments is like that of Lebanon.
12 You are a garden locked up, my sister, my bride;
you are a spring enclosed, a sealed fountain.
13 Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates
with choice fruits,
with henna and nard,
14 nard and saffron,
calamus and cinnamon,
with every kind of incense tree,
with myrrh and aloes
and all the finest spices.
15 You are a garden fountain,
a well of flowing water
streaming down from Lebanon.
How intense is that!!!! HE Loves us so much, that is what HE thinks toward us! Take another look at verse 9!
"You have stolen my heart
with one glance of your eyes,"
One translation says "You have ravished my heart
with one glance of your eyes,"
And HE even goes on to say, that HE sees NO Spot on us! Nothing unclean! HE Loves us! Get that in your mind, that is something that will help with EVERYTHING in life!!!!!!!

Another thing The LORD has brought to my attention is how i read The BIBLE!
Like in Isaiah 1 GOD says, "Take your evil deeds out of my sight!" i don't think that GOD is saying this fully out of frustration and anger, i also deeply believe that HE is saying this out of a hurt heart. what if we read it like a lover who has put everything on the table, and is crying for you to come back? try to read it that way. because GOD Will bring correction, but HE doesn't want to. Like when my parents told me that it was going to hurt them more to punish me when i was younger, "this is going to hurt me more than it is going to hurt you" and this is true! HE would rather be with you, and HE knows what it will take to get you to that place. HE also knows what is best and will bring you through what you most go through, but HE WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER Leave you!!! Psalm 23:4 The reason i will fear no evil when i am in my darkest places, is because YOU ARE WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i am not saying this out of a place where i used to be a long time ago, i am still, yes, even in this day, learning to lean on HIM and to trust HIM. It's not fun, but i can already see where it is helping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So that's the best! What if a child turned around and told their parents that they understood why they were being punished and thanked them!? NOT EVERY HARD THING YOU GO THROUGH IS PUNISHMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT think that! sometimes we do, but the analogy is to put things in perspective for you. Have a great day. :)

Day 25
Wow!!!!!!!!!!
GOD is awesome!!!!!!! for real! HE will just totally amaze you when you think you've seen it all! for real!
So, the plan was to read a lot more of Numbers, try to finish it even. there is a story that covers 3 chapters...it's about Balaam and Balak, and some people know of it because there is a conversation between a donkey and Balaam. that's pretty cool!
The Story covers Numbers chapter 22-24. You should read ALL of it! it is awesome! i know you may be busy, but this is Intense! and won't take you that long to read - it's pretty short and easy to read.
Basically, Israel took over a city of people and took over their whole city and lived there! that was cool. well, they were also bordering another place, and the king got Really nervous, and sent for Balaam, and told him to curse Israel. He said no, and Balak sent people again to convince Balaam otherwise - Balak was very persistant. And GOD said if they ask you to go with them, go, but to ONLY say what GOD says to Balaam to say. and, basically, every time Balak took Balaam to another place to curse Israel (a total of 3 places) Balaam blessed Israel! Balak became mad, because this is NOT what Balaam was asked to do (by Balak, but he DID obey GOD). And Balaam responded one time...(Numbers 23:8) "How shall i curse whom GOD has not cursed? And how shall i denounce whom whom The LORD has not denounced?" ...wow! DO NOT GIVE UP ON THE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT KNOW JESUS YET!!! IF GOD has not cursed them, then keep up the prayer! keep up everything that needs to be done for them! keep up the Love!!! don't EVER give up on Love!!!

Day 22.
Wow! GOD is so coool!!!
Leviticus was an awesome book! and Numbers is amazing as well!
There's so much fun stuff in here! You should read them too!
In Numbers 6 the leaders of Israel made a dedication offering to The LORD. Each leader represented a tribe of Israel, and for 12 consecutive days, 1 leader would make an offering. Each day grain, burnt, sin, and peace offerings were made. Here's what it looked like,
"12 And the one who offered his offering on the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, from the tribe of Judah. 13 His offering was one silver platter, the weight of which was one hundred and thirty shekels, and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering; 14 one gold pan of ten shekels, full of incense; 15 one young bull, one ram, and one male lamb in its first year, as a burnt offering; 16 one kid of the goats as a sin offering; 17 and for the sacrifice of peace offerings: two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five male lambs in their first year. This was the offering of Nahshon the son of Amminadab."
So, these exact same actions, with the exact same measurements happened for 12 consecutive days, by 12 different leaders representing Israel. If you read through, the only thing different, is the names. Okay, so now to the point, what if we, in our own lives show a consistency in EVERYTHING! What if we consistently be in prayer, what if we consistently be reading HIS WORD, what if we are a people continuously in worship!? It seems like it was repetitive to them, maybe it was, but each man brought his offerings to GOD on the day he was to bring them. And everything was in order. (that's another thing, all throughout the books of Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers...things had to be in order if GOD was going to come and be with them, in HIS GLORY "GLORY follows order") -and i'll get back to that here in a moment. Notice the description when talking about the platter, bowl, and pan...each item was FULL. Every day, the appointed leader came and offered these items FULL of the items that was in them!!! How intense is that!!!!? What if, not only do we consistently bring to GOD our lives, but we bring our lives to HIM in the fullest! We bring HIM ALL of our worship! We pour ALL of ourselves out in prayer! We STUDY HIS WORD to the fullest! (We INVITE HIM in with us, or as a more accurate perspective...we GO TO HIM when we read The WORD! (We should never leave HIM) HE said that HE came to give us Life, and Life moe abundantly...what if we offer to HIM, E-V-E-R-Y DAY the fullness of our lives!!?
Okay, so i said i would get back to the get things in order, here's what The WORD says happened after all of this...
"84 This was the dedication offering for the altar from the leaders of Israel, when it was anointed: twelve silver platters, twelve silver bowls, and twelve gold pans. 85 Each silver platter weighed one hundred and thirty shekels and each bowl seventy shekels. All the silver of the vessels weighed two thousand four hundred shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary. 86 The twelve gold pans full of incense weighed ten shekels apiece, according to the shekel of the sanctuary; all the gold of the pans weighed one hundred and twenty shekels. 87 All the oxen for the burnt offering were twelve young bulls, the rams twelve, the male lambs in their first year twelve, with their grain offering, and the kids of the goats as a sin offering twelve. 88 And all the oxen for the sacrifice of peace offerings were twenty-four bulls, the rams sixty, the male goats sixty, and the lambs in their first year sixty. This was the dedication offering for the altar after it was anointed.
89 Now when Moses went into the tabernacle of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice of One speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim; thus He spoke to him."
Pay close attention to the last verse (89)...he heard GOD!!!!!!!! Everything was set, and everything was done specifically like it was commanded by GOD, and GOD showed up!!!!!!!!!!
We N-E-E-D to get our lives in order to what GOD says, and HE WILL show up! Obey the commands of Love!!! Love GOD with A-L-L of your heart!!! and Love everybody else unconditionally as well! If you say, "it's hard" GOD says, "I do it all the time, and i will surely give you grace (help) to do this." So just trust in HIM and you will know a Love that you will be able to share that will literally rock your world!

Day 15
Okay, yesterday reading was fun!
I was reading about some of the laws and stuff - i know what you're probably thinking..."skim through it, there's nothing you can really get out of it" or a funny one "that's Old Testament - 'THAT'S LAW, WE'RE IN THE NT, THEREFORE WE HAVE GRACE' " haha. and all this stuff with NT message is love, and OT isn't. that's humerus....kinda.
A few times within Exodus 20-24 GOD says, "Do not oppress an alien; you yourselves know how it feels to be aliens, because you were aliens in Egypt." I find that interesting-doesn't the same apply to us today? Think about it.
Another very interesting thing i came across is that GOD tell the Israelite people continuously to show Love...in different ways. Tell me if this sounds like Love... (Exodus 23:4-5) "If you come across your enemy's ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to take it back to him. If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen down under it's load, do not leave it there; be sure you hep him with it." In this whole OT/NT division crap, the big difference is - JESUS summed up all the laws into 2 laws. Love GOD, Love each other. Yes, there's a lot of stuff into it - and the covenant is a little different, but not too much. The point i'm getting to today is that they were also commanded to Love. And that we are to Love. End of Story.

Day 11
ok, this was a fun day.
I was reading Exodus 16. This is where The LORD sent manna and quail to feed the Israelite children. It was in the 15th day of the second month - which i believe means 1 1/2 months, but either way-about 2 months after they left Egypt, they were walking through the desert, and they got hungry! How human of them! (you'll see why i put that in a minute). So they "grumbled" to Moses and Aaron about this. I've always heard people hating on Israel at this time for grumbling. "You should have faith." and stuff like that has been said often - and will probably continue to be said. and we should have faith. But, let's all go out on a trip through a desert, being taken away from the only thing you know, and walking to a place that takes 11 days to get to! it's been over a month, almost 2, and they are hungry, they have their children and family to think about. WHAT WOULD YOU DO!?
How does The LORD respond to this? Exodus 16:4 "Then The LORD said to Moses, 'I will rained down bread from heaven for yo. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions.' " God just says, ok. here's food for you that you are asking for. That sounds pretty simple. The funny thing is, we can sometimes be VERY close to being in danger of thinking that we are any better than the Israelite community then. We think that they just had no faith, and just completely rejected GOD. At times they did, and at times we do as well! Be very careful. I am better than no one. And no one is better than me. We are all equals, and GOD loves us all with the same passion and intensity, as anyone else. Who are we to judge?
I find it extremely interesting how GOD responded with them here.
Now for a very interesting part...
I was reading this, and my phone rang. I looked at it, and it was my mom, so I answered it. (i try to always answer it though.) She came across some information that would seem like a "bomb shell"...but thank GOD that HE makes bomb shells to be duds!!!! hahahahaha! GOD is so awesome you can't out do HIM-Fear is not bigger than HIM! HAAHAHAHAHAAHAHA! HE is so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quick back story. I am here in Florida, staying at a family member's house. These family members move back and forth from here to Illinois, depending on the time of year. They will be here in October. The plan is to stay here for the length of the internship. Cool, right? Sure...until the other day. The dud (ex-bomb shell) My mom finds out from my family members that it would be best if i moved out before November. (which is less than 2 months away-close to 1 1/2 months). Well, with finding my own place to live, comes getting a job that can support my bills from my college loans, car insurance, gas, etc...and for the monthly payment for where i will be staying! And finding a job to do all of this, isn't that easy. Well, i told my youth pastor about this the next day, and the day after that, somebody at the church has 2 places for me to look at-both very cheap! WOW!!!!!!! GOD IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD Loves So Muuuuuuuucccccccchhhh! And now I am still trying to find the job, but my HOLY, LOVING, GOD will direct me!!!!!!!!!

Day...i don't remember.
I've slacked off! Forgive me.
I've also gotten behind a little, and am catching up-and in want to show you what has been on my mind a little this last week, from some of the stuff i've been reading.
I've often heard it said that you can relate Israel to you as a Christian. you can.
I've often heard it said that you can relate their coming out of Egypt as you coming from darkness, into Light. Being saved. you can.
I've often heard it said that you can relate the Israelite journey through the desert to their promised land, to our journey as Christians. you guessed it, again...you can.
HOWEVER, if we take the end of Genesis into account as part of THE SAME STORY, we can see it a little different...and it's coooool!
-GOD had Israel go to Egypt. Joseph went to Egypt after being sold by his brothers-he remained faithful to The LORD, and GOD set him at a place at 2nd in command over all Egypt! That's pretty awesome considering that Egyptians saw Hebrews as dirty-(it reminds me of the division America was in a few decades ago with all the racism). When Joseph reunited with his brothers-they apologized and stuff, and Joseph was like, "it's ok. GOD sent me here to save many people" (paraphrase). And he did, with the wisdom The LORD gave him, he not only saved Egypt, but other countries through the 7 years of famine as well! It was INTENSE!!! But the people were saved due to the obedience Joseph had to The LORD. All of Joseph's family moved to Egypt after they found out that Joseph was ok, and in Egypt (remember, his brothers sold him into slavery-and later on in life, Joseph is loving his brothers-that's cool.)
Anyway, the Israelites stayed in Egypt for about 400 years! And they then there is the whole story of the oppression, and Moses being risen up, and GOD delivering Israel out of Egypt! I have been reading, and I have seen where GOD has said that Israel WILL BE IN EGYPT FOR 400 years, then GOD will bring them out and into the land that is promised to them. So, GOD is stating that they WILL be there, not that they SHOULD be there. So, the question that keeps coming up in me is, "Why did they stay so long?" GOD knew that they would, but never said that it was a good thing that they should stay. So, my question to myself - and one to strongly consider in your own self - is, "Are you stil staying in the place GOD called you to a while back?" Have you moved on to what HE has called you to next? This could even be more of a question thing, than a revelation thing...but - should we just be standing still? Or should we keep advancing? What if you or i don't know where to go next? Should we stay here? I know it is important to wait on The LORD...but should you be standing in the same place you were a minute ago? Switch your mind to "Spirit" right now, shouldn't we - if even in the same place - always be bearing fruit and walking in greater glory?
